Amber & Cole’s Mountain Wedding In Elkin NC
Amber and Cole are two of the sweetest humans! Their love for each other radiates when they are together. They had their ceremony and reception on family land near Elkin NC. Amber chose a classic color pallet of Sage Green, Nude and White with subtle pops of gold and just enough boho elements.
Her bridesmaids dresses were all different styles in Nude and Sage, they looked fantastic on everyone and were perfect for their spring wedding.
Amber’s father rented a helicopter for her ceremony entrance!
They also incorporated their fur baby into their day.
I was one of the only people that knew about the helicopter entrance so that was a really cool surprise for Cole and the rest of the wedding party!
We snuck out from the reception for sunset photos and their letters. I 100% suggest doing both for any wedding day!
Instead of exchanging and reading letters before the ceremony separately, they ready them together after their golden hour portraits. I love this idea if you aren’t doing a first look! It was so intimate and special.
Their reception was lit! It was probably one of the most fun I have been to so far. And give me all the glow stick exits!

Melody was the most perfect photographer we could have asked for. Not only because of her amazing talent but because she was is personable, compassionate, dedicated and all around an amazing woman. From our engagements to my bridals & our wedding she was nothing less than outstanding.
I can not thank her enough for what all she did for us.
I can’t wait until the next session, she will forever be my go to woman!
